Awich Has Fans Looking Towards the Light With Latest Music Video!

Vocalist Awich released the music video for her track “First Light (Prod. Chaki Zulu)” on YENTOWN’s official YouTube channel. Taken off her latest album 孔雀 (KUJAKU), the track is imbued with a reggae style of composition, weaving in and out of a slow and relaxing vocal range to a fiery fast one, making this a track one to listen to over and over again. Awich herself commented on the track, stating that “Even in the darkness where you can't escape, the light always comes in. So believe in that first light and survive.” She also made a comment toward her fans, saying that she looks forwards to singing in front of everyone again soon and “until we see that first light again, Peace.”

As previously reported, KUJAKU was her second full-length album, released on January 11. It features the previously released songs “NEBUTA”, “Kami Hikouki (Paper Airlplane)”, “Gangsta”, “Open It Up”, and more, totaling to 20 tracks! “Sen’nou (Brainwashing)” is a heavy hip hop track featuring two indie rappers, DOGMA and CHINZA DOPENESS. It was produced by Chaki Zulu, who has played a role in many of Awich’s songs.
