AAA Takes 2020 Off

Dance unit AAA revealed they are suspending all activities for 2020. The announcement came via the group’s official website and goes on to talk about how the group has been having this discussion on and off since 2016, and now that each member has reached their thirties they are wanting time to explore and take their own path in 2020, which is also the group’s fifteenth anniversary. The good news is that at the end of the year AAA will come back for a dome tour titled AAA DOME TOUR 2020 which will be in November and December. The full schedule will be posted below. Shinjiro Atae and Thelma Aoyama team up for new single!

Male pop vocalist and member of the popular group AAA Shinjiro Atae and R&B vocalist Thelma Aoyama will be teaming up for a new single titled “Suki Suki Suki”, which will drop October 30! This will be the first time that Shinjiro Atae and Thelma Aoyama will be collaborating for a single. Thelma is known for many of her collaboration singles such as “Soba ni Iru ne” and “Koko ni Iru yo”. “Suki Suki Suki” will come in two editions, a regular CD-only and a CD + DVD edition. Both editions will include four tracks but the DVD edition will include the music video and making-of movie for “Suki Suki Suki”. AAA's Bad Love

Pop unit AAA revealed they will be releasing their fifty-seventh single October 23 titled “BAD LOVE”. This release comes after lead singer Takahiro Nishijima’s run-in with the law where he drunkenly assaulted a woman. In a previous statement the group stated they will continue on without him. “BAD LOVE” will be used for serial drama 「奪い愛、夏」(Ubai Ai, Natsu). The announcement came by way of a-nation 2019 which was held August 17. a-nation 2019 is an annual concert series put on by avex.

“BAD LOVE” will be released in just two editions, a standard edition and DVD edition. The standard simply will be CD-only while the DVD edition will feature the music video for “BAD LOVE” along with the making-of for the music video. Pre-orders are now available and posted right below.

Misako Uno tells us sweet stories

Vocalist and current member of AAA Misako Uno announced she will be releasing her album Honey Stories July 17. Honey Stories will be Uno’s very first album as a solo artist; while she is still a current member of AAA she has been branching out and doing more solo work as of late.

Honey Stories is getting a whopping six editions upon release: with a CD-only standard edition, A CD plus DVD edition, a CD plus two DVDs edition, a CD plus two Blu-rays edition, a limited edition that is a CD with two DVDs, and a limited edition that is a CD with two Blu-rays. The official track listing for the album has not been posted at this time.

AAA will continue to perform in next fan club tour, albeit with slight twist!

Popular multi-gender group AAA announced that, despite recent events, their fan club only tour “AAA FAN MEETING ARENA TOUR 2019 ～FAN FUN FAN～” will be continuing as originally planned.

The tour, which will start June 15 in Miyagi’s Sekisui Heim Super Arena, will plan to hit twenty-one different venues across eight prefectures. Due to Naoya Urata’s current situation of being on hiatus due to him assaulting a woman, AAA will be continuing this tour as a five-member group. Members of the fan club who are fans of Urata and had previously bought tickets will be able to receive refunds for said tickets.
