Exile Previews Their Last Exile Friday Song!

With next Friday being the first Friday of the month, this means a brand new Exile Friday will drop. This Exile Friday, however, will be the last. It will feature their upcoming song “STEP UP”, which they dropped a preview of on Avex’s official YouTube channel.

The music video for “STEP UP” was produced by Tetsuya, who wanted it to have a specific theme of “POP, COLORFUL, CATCHY” throughout. He executed this theme by utilizing 1980s style animation portraying ’80s and ’90s era dances such as “Running Man”, “Party Machine”, and a very familiar “Choo Choo Train” dance. Such animations are shown alongside three Exile members.

The Sterotypes--along with members Shokichi and Jay’ed--produced the song. They wanted to incorporate the ’80s style “New Jack Swing”

You can buy a physical copy of “STEP UP” and all of the previous Exile Friday’s songs in their new album, STAR OF WISH,  being released on July 25th. You can preorder your copy here and check out if they meet that “POP, COLORFUL, CATCHY” feeling with a preview of “STEP UP” below!
