Ami Sakaguchi Lays it On Simple With Latest Music Video
/After the successful release of her latest album shiny land, singer-songwriter Ami Sakaguchi released the music video for her track “あっけない” (“Akkenai”) on her official YouTube channel. Used as one of the lead tracks for the album which dropped back in February, this was the latest release from the artist since her single “LION” which was released a couple of weeks prior. Directed by Shin Ishihara and brought to life by a backup band, “Akkenai” keeps it simple with a majestic composition and leans on Sakaguchi’s vocal strength, enticing listeners to listen even more.
shiny land was released with ten tracks and two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD includes several music videos and a studio live version of her track “LION” along with a 32-page photo booklet.
