AOP Announces Disbandment!

We bring the unfortunate news that popular seven-member female idol group AOP announced that they will be disbanding March 31. Originally formed in 2012, AOP announced that as an idol group who likes anime and conveys the splendor of Japanese anime culture both domestically and overseas. Born as a "support project" in response to the growth of the anime industry, AOP sang numerous anime tie-in songs. Comments from each member are posted on the group's official website and leader Non Harusaki said, "Honestly, I still don't feel like ending the activity but I will do my best to do what I can with the short period of time left with the group."
