Calmera Celebrate with Style in Latest Album!
/Popular eight-member jazz band Calmera announced that they will be releasing a brand new album 誰そ彼レゾナンス (Tasogare Resonance) on May 12. Celebrating the band’s fifteenth year in the music industry, this will be the latest album release done by the group since 浪花OVER-BLOW (Naniwa) back in May of 2019.
In this work, the theme song of the movie "Rock'n Roll Strip" starring comedian Junpei Goto directed by Hanta Kinoshita, "333" and the theme song "上にいきたくないデパート” (“Ueni Ikitakunai Department Store" in which Calmera was in charge of the play accompaniment. The album will release with fifteen tracks total, including a collaboration song with Kiyama Shoten "沖縄に雪が降る” (“Okinawa ni Yuki ga Furu”, a cover of the song "Desafinado" with jazz singer akiko singing, and “泣いてたまるかよ” (“Naiteta Marukayo) sung with Yukari Onishi with Ken Yokoyama (crazy Ken band) writing the lyrics. Artists of various genres are participating; the album was not limited to the "entertainment jazz" frame that Calmera is known for.
