Serina Motola debuts in the music industry with cover of classic song!
/Popular model/actress Serina Motola announced that she’ll be making her foray into the music industry with her first single “いかれたBaby” (“Ikareta Baby”), dropping July 3 only, available on 12-inch vinyl.
Originally released by the band Fishmans back in in 1993, Motola fell in love with the vocals and the song’s lyrics, which compelled her to make a cover of this particular song as her first single.
For the recording of this psychedelic single, Motola will be backed by two members of Fishmans’ Motegi Kinichi and Yuzuru Kashiwabara, who played drums and bass for the band. Also joining Kinichi and Kashiwabara on Motora’s first outing will be guitarist Masayuki Ishii of TICA fame who will also play as the sound producer for the single, along with trumpeter NARGO who plays with Kinichi in their band Tokyo Ska Paradise.
