SHISHAMO shows that sixth time's the charm with new album!
/ KenAfter a long hiatus of album releases, three-member rock group SHISHAMO announced a brand new album, SHISHAMO 6, scheduled for January 29, 2020. This is the latest, long-awaited album release from the group since SHISHAMO 5 back in June of 2018.
Set for release with thirteen tracks total, SHISHAMO 6 is currently known to be released through only a CD-only standard edition. Included on the album is popular track “君の隣にいたいから” (“Kimi no Tonarini Itaikara”) which, as previously reported, is set to become the title song for this year’s NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition for the middle school division, a feat only some artists manage to achieve. Future tracks will be announced at a later time so please look forward to any future updates.
