Soushi Sakiyama Goes through Youth with Upcoming Major Label Debut Album!
/ KenVocalist Soushi Sakiyama announced that he will be signing with Sony Music Japan and will be making his major label debut with his upcoming album find fuse in youth on January 27th, 2021. The up-and-coming 18-year-old had made the monumental announcement through a teaser video on his YouTube channel. The album will release with twelve tracks total and will include the song “ただいまと言えば” (“Tadaima to Ieba” which is planned to become the theme song for the coming of age movie 夏、至るころ (Natsu Irukoro).
Prior to his major debut, Sakiyama will release a series of singles called the "Redefinition" series, which is a band arrangement of his own songs for three consecutive months. The first one titled "Samidare" is already available on YouTube. Popular director Yuka Eda, who is noted for such movies as "Delicious and Rotten" and "Girls' Encounter", is in charge of directing all three music videos in the "Redefinition" series. In the video, the actress Ai Mikami and the actor Rakuki appear and one overarching story will be drawn through all three MVs. In the future, "Heaven" will drop on December 1, and "Undulation" will follow on January 1st, 2021.
