9nine Makes Small Comeback

Girl idol group 9nine (pronounced “nine”) have announced a live event for May  22nd. This is the first time the group is doing anything since their fourth member, Kanae Yoshii left May of 2019. Only three members now want to do something special for all their fans stuck at home. The event is being called “9nine online event 2020 ~ ONLINE ON 9NINE ~” and will have members participate from home and develop performances that work from remote locations. Official details on how to participate will be posted on their official website. This is great news for fans of the group and hopefully there will be more events like this to look forward to in the future. A teaser has been posted to the group’s official Twitter account. 9nine announces hiatus!

Popular four-member idol group 9nine announced via their official site that the group will unfortunately be stopping activities following this year. Through the site, members and staff of the group thank everyone who joined them on their journey together. 9nine also announced that they will have their final live fittingly coined 9nine one man live 2019 -Forever 9nine- April 6 in Tokyo’s Nakano Sunplaza Concert Hall.

Formed in 2005, 9nine originally had nine members, but through various trials and tribulations only two of the original crew remained active in the group.
