A.B.C-Z Brings the Summer Song to Fans with Upcoming Single!
/Popular five-member Johnny’s boys group A.B.C-Z announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “夏と君のうた” (“Natsu to Kimi no Uta”), September 1. This will be their latest release since “Nothin’ but funky” back in April and will be their 11th single overall. This track is set to be the theme song of the drama 痴情の接吻 (Chijo no Seppun) starring member Ryosuke Hashimoto. The track is composed by Tamio Okuda, written by Kazuhiro Ozawa, of the comedian duo Speed Wagon, and arranged by Motoki Funayama. Regarding the provision of this song, Okuda said, "Thanks to the lyrics, I think the song is amazing so thank you, Mr. Ozawa!" Ozawa said, "My favorite people make songs, and my favorite people sing. It was a very happy time for me to write the lyrics for this work”. The single will release with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions lovingly called Type A and B that will come with a bonus DVD. Type A’s DVD will come with the music video for “Natsu to Kimi no Uta” along with a behind the scenes making of, while Type B will have a mysterious featurette titled Natsu to ○mi no Uta.
