Drummer Ib will be Joining [Alexandros]!

It has been announced that drummer Riad Ib will now jump ship to the band [Alexandros]. Originally from the band BIGMAMA that broke up back in May of last year, Ib will be filling the shoes that Satoyasu Shomura left since retiring back in March. Ib isn’t a stranger to the band as he has been an active support member for the band since 2019 when Shomura was on hiatus. In making this announcement, [Alexandros] commented, “One of our strongest friends have joined us. Please look forward to this [Alexandros] in the future. Thank you for your continued support." "I want to burn all my passion and life as a drummer for [Alexandros]," Ib said with enthusiasm.

We like to thank Shomura for all his hard work in the band at this point and look forward to the upcoming work from the new [Alexandros]!

[Alexandros] Bring the Light with Upcoming Single!

Four-member rock band [Alexandros] announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “閃光” (“Senkou”) on May 5. This will be the latest release done by the band since their best album Where’s My History back in March, and will be their first single release in 2021. “Senkou" is set to be the theme song of the animated movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway of Senkou, releasing on May 7. “Senkou” is promised to be a rock number with an uplifting feeling that colors the magnificent story of the Gundam franchise. The single will drop with four editions: a  CD-only standard edition and three limited editions. One which will include an original Gundam gunpla model, while the other two include a DVD or Blu-ray. The DVD / Blu-ray contains live footage shot at Shimokitazawa SHELTER in Tokyo.

[Alexandros] Finds History In Greatest Hits Album

Rock band [Alexandros] announced that they will be dropping a brand new compilation album titled Where's My History?  which is set to be released January 20, 2021. This new album is serving as the group’s first greatest hits album since the band formed in 2007.  Over the course of the band’s career they have released seven studio albums and 21 singles. One of the brand new songs on the upcoming album is “Kaze Ni Natte (1 Half Version)” and has already been released on digital platforms.

Where’s My History? is being released in three editions total: a standard two-disc CD edition, a limited edition that comes with a bonus DVD, and another limited edition that comes with a bonus Blu-ray. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the teaser for “Kaze Ni Natte (1 Half Version)”. At the bottom of the page is a partial track listing for every song revealed so far.

[Alexandros] Unleashes the Beast With Upcoming Single!

Popular three-member rock band [Alexandros] announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Beast,” November 11. This will be the latest release by the band since “Mosquito Bite” back in July and will be their eighteenth single overall. Announced during their radio segment on the TOKYO FM radio show SCHOOL OF LOCK!, the track will serve as the theme song for the upcoming mystery movie The Legacy of Dr. Death—BLACK FILE— which will arrive in Japanese cinema in November. Not much else is known about the single at the time of reporting except that it will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and CD+DVD/Blu-ray editions. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will include snippets from their online concert Party in ur Bedroom which took place back in June.

[Alexandros] Has Cool Concept For A Bedroom In New Album

Rock band [Alexandros] announced that they will be releasing their very first concept album, Bedroom Joule, August 26. The new album was made with each member working out of their own home. It will feature the song “rooftop” which Yojei Kawakami (Vo, G) packed all of his thoughts into. The song “Gesshoku horaizun” is being used in an ad campaign for the sports drink Aquarius. 

Bedroom Joule is being released in three editions total including a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD, and a second limited edition which will come with a bonus Blu-ray. The DVD and Blu-ray will feature a live studio recording for the whole album. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society. The CD will feature a total of eight tracks (full track listing below). The band dropped a teaser (see below) for the upcoming album on their YouTube page. Also check out the pre-order links.
