BABYMETAL Celebrates 10 Years!

Metal band, BABYMETAL is celebrating 10 years in the music industry with their first best-of album, 10 BABYMETAL Years, and a re-issue of their hit single “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!” simultaneously releasing on December 23! This release will include 10 of their hit tracks that have helped “color” their music over the years. Each track has been remastered by world famous mastering engineer Ted Jensen, who has worked with artists such as the Eagles, Green Day, Norah Jones, and many more. “Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!” is being re-issued on the same day as 10 BABYMETAL Years drops as it was their first original single and a great way to commemorate 10 years in the music industry. BABYMETAL will also be making their debut on the yearly 71st Kohaku Uta Gassen on New Year’s Eve!

10 BABYMETAL Years will be released in eleven editions total (five of them are attainable on CDJapan): CD+Blu-ray limited edition Type A, CD-only limited edition Type B, CD+Blu-ray edition Type C, CD-only standard edition, and a Vinyl limited edition. The CD+Blu-ray limited edition Type A will include 16 music videos and a prophet card. The CD-only limited edition Type B will include 10 bonus cover artworks, comes in LP-sized packaging, and includes a prophet card. The CD+Blu-ray limited edition Type C will include 10 LEGEND MOVIES (music videos), a folder poster, and a prophet card. The Vinyl limited edition is extremely limited and includes a prophet card. BABYMETAL Live At The Forum Comes to Blu-ray and DVD!

Japanese popular fusion idol and metal band BABYMETAL is bringing their Live At The Forum to Blu-ray and DVD May 13! Their live concert at The Forum in LA features their METAL GALAXY WORLD TOUR LIVE AT THE FORUM which took place on October 11, 2019, the same day their METAL GALAXY album was released. This tour features songs off their latest album along with some of their past hits and the first tour released on Blu-ray/DVD which does not have YUIMETAL since her departure in October 2018.

BABYMETAL’s Live At The Forum comes in two editions, a Blu-ray edition and DVD edition, both of which to include the same set list of 15 tracks. BABYMETAL takes listeners to new galaxy with new album!

Heavy metal idol group BABYMETAL announced the release of their third album METAL GALAXY October 11. The news came as a surprise during their first 2019 live event 「BABYMETAL AWAKENS - THE SUN ALSO RISES-」this past week in Kanagawa’s Yokohama Arena. The group commented on the theme of the album, stating that “we shall travel through the metal galaxy.” With that theme in mind, the album will have BABYMETAL executing varieties of heavy metal and will be released with sixteen tracks total.

Interestingly enough, METAL GALAXY will also include special international editions with the Japanese Edition to include two CDs with every edition. The album will feature three standard CD-only editions, two of them titled SUN and MOON editions; a CD + DVD limited edition; and a vinyl edition. Pre-order all of them at the links below!

Teaming up with AVATAR, BABYMETAL announces new U.S. tour!

Following the release of their latest song ”Evaluator Girl”, heavy metal idol group BABYMETAL announced that they will be holding a brand new American tour.

As previously reported, BABYMETAL would be having its first arena concert in Los Angeles’s The Forum venue, the first time they would perform in a dome venue in the U.S. However, now the group announced that they will be investing in an entire tour around this venture; the tour is to start from September 4 to October 16. They announced several locations they plan to visit, which you can see to the right.

BABYMETAL to rock The Forum with first live arena tour in U.S. and more!

Popular heavy metal idol unit BABYMETAL will hold its first live arena tour at The Forum in California October 11! This will be a their first arena tour in the United States and second arena tour overall since their gig at Wembly Arena in the United Kingdom in 2016. Pre-sale tickets go on sale April 23 and general tickets go on sale April 26 through Ticketmaster. There will also be special limited goods given to participants at the shows.

BABYMETAL will also be releasing a new album in 2019, its official title, tracks, and date to be determined—but they did announce that they will be releasing a new song titled “Elevator Girl” May 10!
