BRATS Crowdfund Their Latest Release!

After a successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year, Japanese girls rock band BRATS will release their new song "Spiderweb" on September 16. Promising a new, more aggressive sound, the band has released teaser videos for the new track on their YouTube channel, with more to follow on the road to release day.The music video was produced at Tokyo’s ultra-modern studio "BLACK BOX³", which houses cutting-edge technology and massive LED screens.

To commemorate the new song, BRATS will hold their second live show of the year at Shibuya Spotify O-WEST on Saturday, October 8, featuring new arrangements of previous hits like "Forget me not", "Ms. Downer", and "Dodatte Yokatta".

BRATS Lanched Crowdfunding Campaign for High-Tech Video Releases!

Popular girls rock band BRATS has launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce a new music video in early 2022.

The music video for their new single will be produced at Tokyo’s ultra-modern studio "BLACK BOX³", which houses cutting-edge technology and massive LED screens. Supporter rewards include special thanks in the video credits, specially-designed T-shirts, autographed photos, custom Blu-rays, and more. The campaign runs through January 31.

BRATS Teams Up with Painter Mao Nakada For This Out of This World Music Video!

Popular rock band BRATS has released an anime-style music video for their popular song "Doudatte Yokatta". For the new visual style, the band collaborated with Tokyo-based painter and printmaker Mao Nakada. The new video is the latest in a series of team-ups between BRATS and rising stars in the fields of art, film, and photography. Last month, the band released a new version of their ballad "Toge" shot by photographer Elena Egorova. This new selection of videos aims to give artists free reign to interpret BRATS' music from their own unique viewpoints.

BRATS Looses Guitarist With Major Debut

Three-member rock band BRATS announced the release of their major debut album with Avex’s FAR EAST MONSTER RECORDS label. The upcoming album is titled Karma and is set to be released on September 30th. The guitarist for the band, Hinako, announced that she will be leaving the band and that her last day will be on September 30th. Hinako stated. “As I learned a lot through BRATS activities, I felt that I wanted to try something new, and that feeling was more and more than living with music”. She also noted that she was “very happy to play with BRATS”. 

Karma is being released in four editions total, a type A edition that will come with a CD plus DVD, a type B edition that will come with a CD + DVD, a limited edition that comes with sheet music, and another limited edition that comes with a digital version of the sheet music. Both limited editions will only come with the CD. The type A edition comes with the music video for a new song that released in July and the type B edition comes with the music video for the new song coming out late August. BRATS Announces Free Concert For First Album!

Three-member band BRATS announced today that they will be having a free live concert on August 1st in Osaka and August 3rd in Tokyo. BRATS are having this free live to celebrate the release of their first album, BRATS, set for release on July 25th.
