CY8ER Rewards their Fans with Upcoming Best of Album!

Five-member idol group CY8ER announced that they will be releasing a best of album, CY8ER on December 16th. The best album, which is a culmination of the group’s four years, will include a total of 30 songs, including a new track by Yunomi. It will also be used as the group’s swan song to the industry as they will disband after performing in the prestigious Budokan next January. 

The album will be available in three editions: a CD-only standard edition, and two CD+Blu-ray limited editions, simply called Type A and B. The Blu-ray for Type A contains music videos of all their lead tracks including a brand new song. Type B will contain footage of the live Tsutaikoto that took place in January, along with a behind the scenes look at the concert.

CY8ER Announces Disbandment and Final Tour!

Five-member idol group CY8ER have announced that they will disband on January 10, 2021 at Nippon Budokan peformance of 「CY8ERなりの横浜アリーナ(CY8ER Nari Yokohama Arena」. CY8ER had recently made their major debut with Victor Entertainment in January of 2020 with their album Tokyo. Rinahamu Ichigo, member and producer of CY8ER, made the announcement at the free live performance called “CY8ER” on July 18th. She stated CY8ER was created based on the concept of “making dreams come true within a limited time before it disbands (or dissovles).” All five members were able to come and work together until now fulfilling each members dream and each stage dream that was promised together. The only one left to fulfill is Nippon Budokan, which will be fulfilled on January 10, 2021.

CY8ER will begin their nationwide tour 「CY8ER FINAL TOUR -正夢 (Masume)-」from now until their final live performance. They will tour 11 venues including, the final at Nippon Budokan. Tour dates below for CY8ER’s FINAL TOUR along with their latest video release of 伝えたいこと (Tsutaetai koto).

CY8ER is making their presence known with major label debut!

Five-member idol group CY8ER announced that they will be making their major label debut with popular label Victor Entertainment. The surprising announcement came after their WOMB live house event this past weekend. They also announced a brand new album, 東京 (Tokyo), which is scheduled to drop January 22 and will serve as their major label debut.

As the album announcement came as a surprise for most, not much information is currently available at the moment. We, as always, will update you when there is. In the meantime check out the music video for their latest track “さよならフラッシュバック” (“Sayonara Flashback”) below!
