FLOW performing at Crunchyroll Expo 2019

Five-member rock band FLOW will be at this year's Crunchyroll Expo, an annual event put on by anime streaming platform Crunchyroll. The announcement came via Crunchyroll’s official website. FLOW will be performing August 30 at the San Jose Convention Center. Not only is the band playing but they will also be participating in panels and signing autographs.

FLOW is a popular rock band here in the West due to the fact that they have several songs that have been used in many different anime over the years. This has allowed the band to develop quite a following here. If you are going to Crunchyroll Expo hopefully you’ll have the pleasure of checking these guys out in person.

Madkid debuts at Crunchyroll Expo

The Rising of the Shield Hero has turned out to be one of the biggest hit anime of 2019 so far and as a result, Crunchyroll is celebrating it this year at Crunchyroll Expo. They have several people involved with the show attending this event including five-member pop group Madkid who provided the opening to both halves of the show. The expo will kick off Thursday night August 28 and is set to run all weekend to September 1.

The Rising of the Shield Hero is about a boy who is whisked away to another world wherein he is one of four legendary heroes. Each hero has a special weapon and protagonist Naofumi is cursed with the shield, which has a bad reputation so he is forced to overcome a lot on his own.

If you are planning on attending the Crunchyroll Expo and have never heard of Madkid you can check out their music video for “Rise” which was the first opening for The Rising of the Shield Hero.
