EXILE Rises in Latest Music Video!

Popular dance vocal unit EXILE released the music video for their track “RED PHOENIX” on their YouTube channel. Currently released across all digital music streaming platforms, the track will also be featured on EXILE TRIBE’s upcoming single “RISING SUN TO THE WORLD” which will release on January 1st, 2021. This will be the first track done by the group after the retirement of EXILE ATSUSHI. In the music video, a new EXILE logo is expressed against the backdrop of burning flames under the theme of "Energize Japan, and energize the world with Japan's energy." 

As previously reported “RISING SUN TO THE WORLD” will release with five editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD+DVD/Blu-ray standard edition, and a CD+DVD/Blu-ray limited edition. The DVD and Blu-ray will include several music videos along with behind-the-scene footage about the single. The limited edition will include an exclusive 60-page photo book.

EXILE Shines In Fiftieth Single

Male vocal and dance unit EXILE has announced they will be dropping their fiftieth single. Titled “Sunshine,” the track is set to be released on December 16. This comes shortly after long term member EXILE ATSUSHI announced he will be graduating from the group and right before the group enters their twentieth year in the Japanese Music Industry. 

“Sunshine” is being released in five editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a CD plus DVD edition, a CD plus Blu-ray edition, a CD plus two DVDs edition, and a CD plus two Blu-rays edition. The single DVD and Blu-ray editions feature the music video for the title track. The two DVDs and two Blu-rays editions will feature not only the music video for “Sunshine” but also the concert, "EXILE PERFECT LIVE 2001→2020" which was held on February 25 at Kyocera Dome. EXILE ATSUSHI Turns New Chapter At Forty With New Album

Singer and performer EXILE ATSUSHI revealed he will be dropping his fourth album, titled 40 ~forty~, which is set to drop November 4. This will be ATSUSHI’s first album in six years; his last album, Love Ballade, was released in 2014. The new album is a “breakaway from the past” with ATSUSHI’s fortieth birthday—this past April 30—being a turning point. 

40 ~forty~ is being released in five editions total including a standard CD-only edition, a CD plus DVD edition, a CD plus Blu-ray edition, a two-CD plus four-DVD edition, and a two-CD plus four-Blu-ray edition. The standard CD will feature a total of ten tracks while the DVD and Blu-rays will feature music videos. The second CD is an acoustic album which will contain a total of six tracks while the second, third, and fourth DVDs and Blu-ray will feature a live show and a documentary about ATSUSHI. Two of the songs on the base CD, "Rinne" and "Osaka Tokyo", were made in collaboration with megastar artist Koda Kumi.  Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the complete track listing for all editions. EXILE's TETSUYA taking break

Major male-idol group EXILE announced that their member TETSUYA will be taking a break from performing with the group. TETSUYA, who has a dislocated kneecap, has been dealing with this problem for two years now. He has received partial treatment for his knee but still suffers from frequent pain; he has managed to continue to work through the pain, but now he has decided to undergo full treatment. With full treatment it will take TETSUYA several months to completely recover, and obviously he will need to limit his activities and stay away from anything physically demanding. However, TETSUYA is hoping to be back on stage by "LDH PERFECT YEAR 2020" next year. We here at Ongaku To You wish him a speedy recovery.

J SOUL BROTHERS from EXILE TRIBE, a Japanese R&B dance and vocal unit signed to Rhythm Zone, announced that they will have a livestream of their newest single “Yes we are”. The project to showcase their new music video to promote their single is coined “Yes we are ~WORLDWIDE STREAMING~”.
