GReeeeN Announce An Electric New Album

Rock band GReeeeN has announced they will be dropping a brand-new album titled Bokutachi no Denko Sekka which is set to be released on January 06. This will be their first album in a little over a year since their last album Dai Ku. One of the songs included on the upcoming album is their song “Hoshikage no Yell” which is being used for the historical drama Yell.

Bokutachi no Denko Sekka is being released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition that will come with an acrylic ornament. The CD will feature a total of seven songs, but the full track-listing has yet to be revealed. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the teaser for the upcoming album.

GReeeeN Yells In New Single

Four-member rock band GReeeeN revealed they will be dropping their latest single titled “Hoshikage no Yell” which will be released June 24. “Hoshikage no Yell” is being used as the theme song for the period drama 「エール」(Yell) which started airing on March 30. The single is being released in two editions, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will also be CD-only but released in hardcover book-shaped packaging. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with a preview of the upcoming single. The full track listing will be available below as well.

New GReeeeN album comes with CD player

Pop rock/hip-hop group GReeeeN revealed they will be releasing their ninth album, Dai Ku, September 25. It will be released in three editions; the standard edition will be CD-only while the limited edition Types A and B will both be CD + DVD. The DVD will feature a total of six music videos with some special extra content. Limited edition type A, however, will also include an original CD player—with batteries included!
