A New Challenger Approaches In New JO1 Single

Eleven-member boy-group JO1 has announced they will be releasing their third single titled “CHALLENGER” on April 28th. The announcement of the single came via an online-live event titled “JO1 Live Streaming Concert" STARLIGHT DELUXE” which was held on February 20th. This single was built on the concept of the group “stepping into the unknown world.” “CHALLENGER” is being released in three editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition type A that will come with a bonus DVD, and a limited edition type B that will come with a photobook. JO1 Shines A Light for their Fans with Latest Music Video!

To hype up the release of their upcoming album, popular eleven-member boy group JO1 released the music video for their track “Shine A Light” on LAPONE’s YouTube channel. Set as the lead track for the group’s first album, The STAR (releasing on November 25), the music video focuses on the theme of "intersecting space-time" and is set in a huge scrambled intersection in a fictitious city, the thoughts of members living on different timelines are blended together for an interesting video like no other. 

As previously reported, THE STAR will release with four editions: a standard CD-only edition and three limited editions called Green, Blue, and Red editions. Green will be CD-only and include a photo book and an accordion card while Blue will be CD-only. Lastly, Red will come with a DVD that includes footage from their JO1 PARTY event.

JO1 Soars To The Stars With First Album

Boy group JO1 has announced that they will be releasing their very first album titled THE STAR which is set to be released on November 25th. JO1 debuted back in March of this year and since then have released two songs, “Infinity” and “Stargazer”. Both tracks went on to be number one songs on the Japanese Oricon chart and the Hot 100 chart. 

THE STAR is being released in four editions total, a standard CD-only edition, and three limited editions. The limited edition (green) will be CD-only but additionally comes with a photo book. The limited edition (blue) will be CD-only and come with an accordion card. Lastly, the limited edition (red) will come with a CD plus a bonus DVD. JO1 Gaze Upon The Stars In New Single

Boy group JO1 announced they will be releasing their second single, titled “Stargazer”, August 26. JO1 is a boy group formed from the popular TV series Produce101, which starts with 101 trainees; the talent pool is whittled down until only 11 remain and they form a boy group that goes on to make single and perform in shows. JO1 is the first group that comes out of the Japanese division of Produce101.

“Stargazer” is being released in four editions: a standard CD-only edition; a limited edition Type A which will come with a bonus DVD; another limited edition, Type B, which will come with a booklet; and a bundle edition which will include all editions together. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with their debut single “Infinity” so everyone can check them out.
