LMYK Starts from 0 with Latest Anime Music Video!

Vocalist LMYK was greatly selected as the ending theme of the anime Vanitas no Carte", and her new song "0 (zero)" was ranked high not only in Japan but also in Taiwan and Canada. The music video that was recently released on YouTube, in which she appeared for the first time, has also received many enthusiastic comments from overseas. In response to these positive responses, a new music video of "0 (zero)" featuring illustrations from the anime Vanitas no Carte has been released.

The anime Vanitas no Carte is based on the latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of the popular manga PandoraHearts which has sold over 5.5 million copies. And it is currently on air. It is produced by BONES, a company famous for producing high quality anime such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Psalms of Planets Eureka seven, and has been getting a lot of attention overseas. 

LMYK produced both Japanese and English versions of the song for this anime. For the overseas distribution of the anime, a new attempt has been made to use the English version of the song in English-speaking regions. It is an elegant and gothic soundscape that beautifully adorns the steampunk world of 19th century Paris. The newly released music video for the anime version of "0 (zero)" is also based on the English lyrics, and the images from the TV anime are exquisitely edited to match the music and the world of the anime, making it an enjoyable experience for both music and anime fans. Her new song is also produced by Jimmy jam & Terry Lewis, one of the world's leading producer teams. LMYK's signature whispering voice is used as an orchestration, and their production work visualizes the sound as if it were a garden in bloom.

LMYK Restarts from 0 with Latest Single for The Case Study of Vanitas!

Now, her new song “0 (zero)” has been selected as the ending theme for the anime The Case Study of Vanitas which is based on the latest work by Jun Mochizuki, the author of the popular manga PandoraHearts that sold over 5.5 million copies. Finally, the digital version of the ending theme “0 (zero)” has been released! Fans who watch the anime and have been waiting for the song, showed excitement and commented thoughts on social media, "When this song was first released, it stuck with me from the first time I heard it, and I was really looking forward to listening to the full version".

To coincide with today’s digital release of “0 (zero)”, the Japanese version music video and the English version video will be released simultaneously! The song has different lyrics for the Japanese version and English version just for this anime. When the anime is distributed internationally, a new attempt will be made to use the English version in English-speaking regions.

It is unusual for two music videos to be released simultaneously. They were directed by the up-and-coming filmmaker Soh Ideuchi. He captures the world of the song and the artist from a unique perspective, making a creation that can be called a visual poem.

The physical release of the single will also be drop on September 8 will only come with a CD-only limited edition. limited-edition CD with a rare specially drawn anime will be released.
