MONSTA X Celebrates in Style With Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the anniversary of their Japanese debut, six-member Korean boy group MONSTA X released the music video for their track “FANTASIA -Japanese ver.-“ on their YouTube channel. The video is included on the DVD attached to the first limited edition of the album Flavors of love released back on May 5, but since then many fans from all over the world, as well as Japan, have requested the release. With it also being the fourth anniversary of their Japanese debut, the video was uploaded to YouTube at the time of the memorial. Be sure to pay attention to the powerful performance of the members along with the video’s slow and fast scene development.

MONSTA X looking to SWISH more into Japanese Market!

Popular seven-member Korean hip-hop group MONSTA X announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Alligator”, June 12. “Alligator” will be the sixth single released in the the Japanese market by the Korean super group. To prove that MONSTA X isn’t stopping anytime soon, the single will also include an original Japanese song titled “SWISH”, which they previewed on Universal Music Japan’s official YouTube channel. 

“Alligator” will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two CD + DVD limited editions simply titled Type A and Type B. The only difference between the two is that Type A will include only the music and Making Of for “Alligator”, with Type B including a live performance of “Alligator” along with a “Special Clip” of “SWISH”and a behind-the-scenes Making Of of the single cover shoot.

To commentate the release of the single, MONSTA X will be having an “Alligator High Five” event starting June 14-16. The group also announced the dates for the Japan portion of their 2019 World Tour simply titled「2019 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR 'WE ARE HERE' IN JAPAN」(more details for both events at right)

MONSTA X shoots fifth Japanese single out!

Seven-member Korean pop boy group MONSTA X is firing their fifth Japanese single Shoot Out, set to drop May 27!! Not only is Shoot Out their fifth Japanese single but their first single of 2019. Title track Shoot Out is a Japanese version of a song on their Korean album Take 1. Are you there? MONSTA X: Vol 2. B-side track “FLASH BACK”, on the other hand, will be an original Japanese song. Shoot Out will have three different versions including two limited editions. Type A will contain a DVD with the music video and the Making-of for the title track. Type B will come housed in LP-sized packaging with a random alternate cover chosen from seven different kinds. Type C is the standard edition which will come with one of fifteen different trading cards.
