May J. Brings A New Lining With Upcoming Album!

Vocalist May J. announced that she will be releasing a brand new album, Silver Lining, December 8. This will be the latest original album release since Futuristic back in October of 2017 and will be the dovetail to her debut anniversary. This work contains a total of ten songs, including "Rebellious," "Can't Breathe," "DRAMA QUEEN," and "Love & Hate”, which were released digitally over the last four consecutive months from May. The album will also drop with a CD-only standard edition and limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will include various music videos.

May J. Brings Out the DRAMA QUEEN in Upcoming Release!

Vocalist May J. announced that she will be releasing a brand new track, “DRAMA QUEEN”, July 14 across all music streaming platforms. May J., who is celebrating the 15th anniversary of her debut this year, is planning to release for four consecutive months with Miru Shinoda of yahyel as the production team in order to convey what she wants to convey as an artist. The third song, "DRAMA QUEEN," features lyrics that express, "Even if you say bad things about people and hit the heroine of the tragedy, nothing will change. Why don't you change yourself first?" May J. Shows Off Rebellious Side With Upcoming Release!

Vocalist May J. announced that starting in May she will be releasing a brand new track for the next four consecutive months across all music streaming platforms. These upcoming releases are to honor her fifteenth year in the Japanese music industry and will serve as Part Two of that celebration after her May J. W BEST 2 album back in January. For these tracks she will be teaming up with Mill Shinoda of the band yahyel as part of the production team in order to convey what she wants to convey as an artist. The first single, "Rebellious", was released on May 12. The single’s title expresses the unwillingness of young people who have reached a rebellious period through the music.

May J. Opens Up Unique YouTube Channel!

Superstar May J. opened up a special YouTube channel titled May J’s Hashimo-channel. In the first video, May J. discusses her Wikipedia page, as her staff told her self introductions were not very interesting. May J. decided to make it fun by going through her own Wikipedia page and commented on whether the information is true or false. She discusses the origin of her stage name, the languages she speaks, and even laughs about the mistaken information on her own Wikipedia page. May J. commented on the opening of her Hashimo-channel, as she is hoping to be able to get to know herself better and to connect more with fans through her nickname, “Hashimo-chan”. May J. Commemorates 15th Anniversary With Best Album!

Pop vocalist and icon May J. is commemorating her 15th Anniversary with a new best album titled May J. W BEST 2 -Originals & Covers- and is set to release on January 1st, 2021! This album marks the beginning of May J.’s 15th Anniversary year and begins where her May J. W BEST -Originals & Covers- left off in 2015. This album begins with the single “Faith” that was used as the ending theme song for the popular game and anime GOD EATER 2: RAGE BURST along with “Futari no Mahou” that was used as the opening theme to the anime Gundam Reconguista in G. It also includes the popular duet with Yashiro Aki “10,000 nichi -Mirai no Tobira-” and was composed by Angela Aki. Disc 1 includes all of May J.’s original tracks while disc 2 will include all her covers. It will include a total of 26 tracks.

May J. W BEST 2 -Originals & Covers- will be released in three editions: 2CD + 4DVD limited edition, a 2CD + 2DVD edition, and a 2 CD standard ediition. The 2CD + 4DVD limited edition will include music videos for May J.’s original and cover songs, May J. Tour 2019 -New Creation- at Zepp Tokyo with audio commentary, and 15 nen wa furikaeru BAKURO TAIKAI (bonus video: looking back at 15 years) which will all be housed in a box with 3 face digipak packaging and will include a lyric book, 40 page photobook, and an anniversary collectible. The 2CD + 2DVD standard edition will only include the music videos for both original and cover songs.
