Miyakawa-kun Drops Symbolic Teaser For New Mini-album

Singer Miyakawa-kun dropped a teaser for his latest song titled “Symbol” which will be the title track for his upcoming mini-album of the same name, set to be released July 8. The teaser is only thirty seconds long and at the end, on the screen, it reads “2020.05.31 21:00 MUSIC VIDEO OUT”. Symbol is being released in three editions total including a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition that will come with a bonus Blu-ray, and a limited edition that will come with goods instead of a Blu-ray. LiSA sings about high school life as she teams up with Kirin Lemon!

In a surprised twist, popular beverage company Kirin dropped its new CM featuring popular vocalist LiSA in its “Kirin Lemon Tribute” campaign with her rendition of the song "透明なままでゆけ" ("Tomeina mamade yuke”) on its official YouTube channel.

The CM features a scene of a male high school student hanging out with members of the basketball club interspersed with scenes of LiSA singing in a classroom. Dubbing this CM Natsu, Aitsura Story 2, Kirin took a different approach this year in designing its CM by having it being congruent to Miyakawa-kun’s Kaze wo Kiretara CM that aired last month. In comparison to LiSA’s version it had the love interest of the student as the center focus of the CM.

Miyakawa Kun teams up with Takuto once again to form a powerful unit!

Popular YouTuber Miyakawa Kun announced that he will be teaming up with vocalist Takuto once again—becoming a brand new vocal unit called Only this time—and will release a brand new single titled “ANSWER”. Dropping July 3, “ANSWER” is set to become the new opening theme for the long-running detective anime Detective Conan which will begin airing Jun 1.

This is not the first time the pair is teaming up with each other; the first was for their hit song “Kamikaze Express”, which was the ending theme for the same anime early last year. “ANSWER” will be written and composed by Miyakawa himself and produced by Nob, the bassist for the band MY FIRST STORY.

“ANSWER” will be released with four different editions: a standard only CD-only edition, a Detective Conan CD-only edition which will include a TV edited version of “ANSWER”, a CD + DVD limited edition which will include both the music video for “ANSWER” along with a making-of for said video, and a fan club edition for hardcore fans.
