Perfume To Be in Times Square through Amazon Music!

Popular electro-pop trio Perfume announced that they will be featured across Times Square in New York from September 18-24 as part of a collaboration with Amazon Music. This comes off the heels of the release of their latest single, “Time Warp.” The partnership with Amazon Music is not limited to the US with France also taking part in the event. Starting today, September 16, and continuing for a limited time only, if you ask Alexa, “Alexa what is the new Perfume song?” in either English or French, the Perfume members will introduce the track in English. 

As previously reported, “Time Warp” is the first single that the group has released in over two years. This is also the second work of their Perfume 15th & 20th anniversary with you all which is celebrating fifteen years since their major debut and twenty years since they came together as a group.

The single will release two editions: a CD+DVD limited edition and a CD+DVD+Cassette Tape Special edition. Be sure to check out the preview along with the order links for “Time Warp” below!

Perfume Warp Time With First Single In Two Years

Three-member pop idol group Perfume announced a brand-new single titled “Time Warp” and is set to be released on September 16th. This is the first single that the group has released in over two years. This is also the second work of their Perfume 15th & 20th anniversary with you all which is celebrating fifteen years since their major debut and twenty years since they came together as a group. 

“Time Warp” is being released in two editions total; a limited edition that will come with a CD plus DVD, and another limited edition that will come with a cassette tape. The DVD will feature the music video for “Time Warp” and the cassette tape will be a bonus for those who purchase this edition. Perfume rejuvenates monstrous career with latest music video!

Three-member hybrid pop group Perfume released the music video for their track “再生” (“Saisei”) on their official YouTube channel. “Saisei” was the latest track by the trio since their best-of album P Cubed back in September of last year. Set as the main theme for highly anticipated mystery movie 屍人荘の殺人 (Shijinsou no Satsujin), “Saisei” kicked off Perfume’s fifteen-year major debut. Bathed in light amidst a mysterious forest, the trio pays homage to their past fifteen years by having every past music video spliced into “Saisei”, lip-syncing to this new track. Perfume kicks off anniversary with Best Of album!

Popular three-member techno-pop group Perfume announced their first Best Of album for September 18. Titled Perfume The Best ”P Cubed”, the album will include digital remastering, by popular DJ Yasutaka Nakama, of several songs throughout Perfume’s outstanding career, and will boast a whopping fifty-two song track listing across a three-disc set. The album will play as “part one” of the group’s celebration of fifteen years in the Japanese music industry and Perfume promises more years to come!

The announcement of the album came as a surprise during Perfume’s Perfume LOCKS! radio program during which member Ayaka Nishiwaki commented that the tracks were chosen between all three members of the group along with several staff members. Therefore, the album is not only to be enjoyed by fans of Perfume but for listeners who might have only heard a song or two in the past and would like to know more about the group.

Perfume The Best ”P Cubed” will be released with three different editions: a standard CD-only edition, a CD + DVD/Blu-ray limited edition, and a CD + DVD/Blu-ray special edition. There isn’t much different content-wise between the limited edition and special edition except that the special edition includes a deluxe photo book, a must-have for fans.

Perfume's FUTURE POP tour coming to Blu-ray and DVD!

Japanese pop trio Perfume announced that their seventh tour FUTURE POP 2018 is coming to Blu-ray and DVD April 8! The FUTURE POP 2018 concert chosen for this release was held at Yokohama Arena this past December 12. Perfume 7th Tour 2018 FUTURE POP will include four luxurious editions. It will come in a Blu-ray and DVD limited edition version and a standard version; the limited edition includes six songs shot in different angles—such as panoramic ones focusing on each member—plus a complete version of “TOKYO GIRL” discussed by the members during the concerts. The limited edition will also come housed in a deluxe box with stickers. The standard edition will simply include the concert held at Yokohama Arena.
