Pour Lui Debuts New Idol Group

Pour Lui, a singer who previously worked with girl idol groups BiS and Billie Idle, finally revealed her brand new idol group. The group is called PIGGS and it is a five-member girl group whose members consist of Pour Lui, CHIYO-P, SHELLME, UMI, and BAN-BAN. Pour Lui, while being a member of the group, is also acting as one of their producers. They revealed that their debut album will be released July 1 but no details have been disclosed except for information regarding one song that will be on the album. The new song is titled “KICKS” and it has already been released on YouTube; check it out below. 

Pour Lui Announces Solo Album

Singer and now producer Pour Lui revealed that not only is she producing a brand new idol group but she also announced that she will be working on a brand new solo album titled Minna no PourLui which is set to drop March 11. Pour Lui has been part of the Japanese music industry for over ten years, being the founding member of BiS, and was also the last member of BILLIE IDLE before they disbanded in December of last year. The new album will feature a total of eight tracks and is being produced by SCRAMBLES, who has worked with Pour Lui since she started working with BiS. BILLIE IDLE member starts new group

Pour Lui revealed she will be starting up a brand new idol group under the tentative name of Idol Laboratories. Lui has been in the idol industry now for ten years, getting her start in BiS and eventually working with Music Corner alumnus BILLIE IDLE who disbanded this past December. Auditions will start February 2 at the WACK office in Shibuya, Tokyo and they will be conducted in an interview style. Lui is looking for women from 18 to 29 years old and no experience is required. She is being backed by Junnosuke Watanabe, who handles BiS, BiSH, and several others under WACK. Lui stated in an interview, “I have been an idol for 10 years but it is my first time as a producer, so I hope to create a group with the members, the fans who support me, and the production team.”
