Nissy and SKY-HI to Release Single “Stormy” Theme Song of Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-

At an exclusive fanclub event “10th Anniversary LIVE VIEWING TOUR 2023 -Nissy Meets You-” held at the Okinawa Convention Center Theater, it was announced that the collaborative song “Stormy” by Nissy and SKY-HI will be released as a single on April 17, 2024. This song was specially written for the upcoming movie, Blue Lock -Episode Nagi-, scheduled for release in Japanese theaters on April 19, 2024. It marks the second collaboration between SKY-HI and Nissy, following their previous work on “SUPER IDOL.”

Blue Lock, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, is a highly popular manga that has surpassed 30 million copies in total circulation. The anime adaptation, which aired in 2022, drew attention with its intense character portrayals and death game narrative, set in a fierce environment where “only the world’s most egotistical player can become the greatest striker,” and gained global popularity as “the most passionate and craziest soccer anime in history.” The egos of the protagonist, Seishiro Nagi, and his indispensable partner, Reo Mikage, converge in this first-ever theatrical adaptation of the series, and the stoic musical composition portrays the intense human drama as they fiercely compete for a single crown.

Co-created by Nissy, SKY-HI, Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai, and Daisuke Nakamura, this song combines an iconic refrain and a powerful beat with Nissy and SKY-HI’s exceptional vocals and rap, along with lyrics that express the charm of Blue Lock.

SKY-HI and Nissy Team Up to Become a SUPER IDOL in Latest Release!

‘SUPER IDOL’, the digital single by SKY-HI x Nissy, was released back on December 4. It was accompanied by a music video, which was released on SKY-HI’s YouTube channel at 19:00 Japan time on the same day, creating a huge buzz online.

The song was produced specially to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of both SKY-HI and Nissy. Each of these two artists has continued to lead the Japanese dance and vocal music scene in their own unique way, and now they have joined forces to create a killer idol song that marks a whole new paradigm.

The music video has an immense sense of scale, with the theme of “two phantom thieves”. SKY-HI And BE:FIRST Come Together In New Release

Japanese rapper, producer, and CEO of BMSG, SKY-HI has announced a compelling split release on 28 August 2023, Monday. The single features the opening and closing themes for the upcoming Baki Hanma Season 2 - "The Father vs. Son Saga”. “Sarracenia” is the title for the opening theme and “Salvia” is the title for the closing theme, both songs were written by SKY-HI himself who is a big fan of the manga for the anime.

In ‘Sarracenia’, SKY-HI delves into the psyche of Yujiro Hanma, Baki Hanma's formidable father, exploring his profound musings on strength and masculinity. “Salvia” is performed by the seven-member dance and vocal group BE:FIRST which SKY-HI himself is the executive producer of. The digital single is pre-released on major streaming platforms today, while both “Sarracenia” and “Salvia” are up on YouTube in their full anime format. Coinciding with the new anime season release of father-son face-off anime series ‘Baki Hanma’, the opening theme song ‘Sarracenia -Anime Size-’ by SKY-HI and ending theme song ‘Salvia -Anime Size-’ by BE:FIRST have been released on download and streaming services around the world. ‘Baki Hanma’ is the latest instalment in the beloved ‘Baki’ anime franchise.

‘Sarracenia -Anime Size-’ is themed on the anime’s fist-fighting father Yuujiro Hanma, featuring lyrics from the viewpoint of a strong fighter, a rap and vocal track that overflows with skilful expressive power, and an aggressive track with dramatic twists and turns. These three elements combine to create a song brimming with emotion.

SKY-HI teams up with Taiwan-based rapper ØZI for global release of new single ‘Dream Out Loud feat. ØZI’!

Popular vocalist KY-HI has released new single ‘Dream Out Loud feat. ØZI’ back on May 31, available on download and streaming services globally. Recorded with leading Japanese producer KM, the song combines a danceable sound and memorable horn riffs with SKY-HI’s catchy flow and acrobatic rhymes.

It also features guest vocalist ØZI, a top Taiwan-based artist who releases music for an audience around the world. ØZI’s lyrics and flow have their roots in hip-hop and R&B, resulting in a truly special collaboration that raises the song to even higher heights.
