Vocalist Sayuri announced the that she would be releasing her new track “葵橋” (“Aoi Bashi”) across all digital music streaming platforms. Currently being used as the ending theme song for the slice of life anime Sing “Yesterday” to me, this was the latest release by the vocalist before the release of her first album (Me), which dropped June 3. The track complements the anime’s theme of “what is love” and Sayuri pours her heart out in this instant classic. Sayuri Bringing A Special Album To Fans!

Japanese pop singer-songwriter Sayuri is bringing a hikigatari (singing to one’s own accompaniment) type album for the first time titled Me which will be released March 18! Me is a special accompaniment album that purely encompasses Sayuri as an artist, featuring her playing her songs on guitar and singing them herself with just one microphone. Sayuri is known for several anime theme songs such as “Koukai no Uta” from My Hero Academia, “Tsuki to Hanabata” from Fate/EXTRA Last Encore, “Heikousen” from Kuzu no Honkai, and many more!

Me will release in two editions including a CD + DVD limited edition and a CD-only regular edition. The CD + DVD edition will include 15 tracks and live footage from two of Sayuri’s events while the CD-only regular edition will only include the same 15 tracks. Sayuri drops music video for My Hero Academia Season 4 ending

Mega popular shonen series My Hero Academia just started its fourth season and Sayuri has dropped the music video for her song “Kokai no Uta” which is being used as the ending theme for the first half of the show’s fourth season. The theme features a super stylized video that blends both live action and animation in a very cool music video. Sadly though, it is only a minute and a half long, as it is the short version of the video. “Kokai no Uta” will be released in full on November 27 through three editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition which comes with a bonus DVD, and an anime edition which comes with its own unique DVD and cover art. The limited edition’s DVD will feature footage from Sayuri’s Mikazuki no Kokai 2017 -Yoake no Zenkoku Tour- at Shibuya TSUTAYA O-East from 2017 while the anime edition’s DVD will feature the textless ending of the anime. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with the short video for “Kokai no Uta” so you can check it out for yourself.
