SixTONES Masked Themselves With Upcoming Single!

Popular six-member Johnny’s boy group SixTONES announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Mascara”, August 11. This will be the latest release by the group since “僕が僕じゃないみたいだ” (“Boku ga Boku Jyanaimitaida”) back in February and will be their fifth single overall. Provided by Daiki Tokita of King Gnu and millennium parade fame, "Mascara" was announced during the Kanagawa-Yokohama Arena performance of the live tour on eST held on June 3 and 5-7. Following the announcement of the release, a video message was played from Tokita with the surprise announcement of the collaboration, and after the six members looked at the monitor and listened to the message, they appeared surprised and absent-minded for a while. This was followed by having everyone taking a deep breath, saying, “We were surprised by this announcement!” and "We also have to calm down (not just the fans)!"

Like with several of Johnny’s releases, “Mascara” will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions lovingly called Types A and B, which will come with a bonus DVD. Type A’s DVD will feature the music video for “Mascara” along with a making-of and a solo member version of the track as well, while Type B’s content will be announced at a future date. The standard edition will be a must-have for fans as well, as it will also include a 20-page photo book along with a couple additional B-side tracks.

SixTONES Don't Lie To Themselves In New Single

Boy group SixTONES has announced they will be dropping a brand-new single titled “Boku ga Bokujyanai Mitaida” which is set to be released on February 17. The new song is being used as the theme for the comedy film Liar x Liar which is based on the slice-of-life manga by the same name. “Boku ga Bokujyanai Mitaida” is a pop love song that sings to a man's heart and tries to fix the frustration that he can't be himself with a lie within the context of the film. 

“Boku ga Bokujyanai Mitaida” is being released in three editions total: a standard CD-only edition, and two limited editions that will come with a bonus DVD. The limited edition type A will also come with a twenty-page photo book, and each edition will feature unique songs on each CD. SixTONES Look to Become 1ST With Upcoming First Album!

After the successful release of their single “NEW ERA”, popular six-member boy idol group SixTONES announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, 1ST, January 6, 2021. The release will arrive through three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two CD+DVD limited editions titled Type A: Stones and Type B: Tones, both alluding to the naming scheme of the group. It will also drop with thirteen tracks total and will include their hit songs "NAVIGATOR" and "NEW ERA". Limited Edition A: Stones will contain five additional songs from the group’s Johnny's Jr. era, which will be the "raw stone" of SixTONES, and the attached DVD contains the music of the new song "ST", called the “killer tune” of SixTONES. The video is included, including making-of and solo angles. On the other hand, the first limited edition B: Tone additionally includes three unit songs of two members each as an attempt to hear "tone". The attached DVD contains the music video for each unit song. In addition to 10 songs common to all forms, the standard edition includes two new songs that challenge SixTONES to a genre that they haven’t done before, along with a "1ST ver." of the popular song "Telephone".

SixTONES Brings it to the NEW ERA with Upcoming Single!

Popular six-member boy group SixTONES announced that they will be releasing brand new single “NEW ERA” on November 11th. This will be the latest release done by the group since “NAVIGATOR” back in July and will be their third single overall. Set to become the opening for the highly anticipated anime Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, the boys look to change it up as it will have a rock composition to it which they see as a challenge that they won’t lose to. 

The single will release with two tracks and will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a CD+DVD special edition, all of which will include a different B-side track. The DVD on the limited edition will include both the music video for “NEW ERA” along with a making-of featurette. The special editions will include a TV size edit of “NEW ERA” and the DVD will include a ‘Live at the Music Video Location’ version of the song. Not to be outdone by the limited and special editions, the standard edition will include an additional track and the instrumentals for “NEW ERA”, totaling to four tracks.

SixTONES Navigates New Horizons In Latest Music Video

Boy idol group SixTONES released the music video for their upcoming single titled “Navigator” which is set to be released July 22. The new video has the boys dancing around on an empty stage surrounded by purple lights. “Navigator” is featured as the opening theme to detective anime The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited.

The new single is being released in three editions: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD, and a limited pressing edition which will also come with a bonus DVD. The DVD for the limited edition will feature the music video and a making-of documentary while the DVD for the limited pressing edition will feature bonus footage exclusive to this edition.
