WANDS Burns Secrets In New Album

Three-member rock band WANDS has announced they will be dropping a brand-new album titled Burn The Secret which is set to drop on October 28. Awake was WANDS’ first album which dropped in 1999. The new album will include an opening theme for long-running detective anime, Detective Conan, which is “Makka na Lip”.

Burn The Secret is being released in two editions: a standard CD-only edition, and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD features the music videos for "Makka na Lip", "Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni", and "Secret Night -It's My Treat-[WANDS Fifth Period ver.] Short ver. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the music video for “Makka na Lip” to get a taste of the upcoming album.

WANDS' New Single Breaks Silence

Rock band WANDS announced they will be dropping their seventeenth single titled “Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni”, which is set to drop May 20. This is the second single since the band reunited last year. WANDS was formed in 1991 and disbanded in 1999. Last year, after 20 years out of the industry, the band decided to get back together. “Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni” is being used for the second season of the crime drama Silent Voice.

“Dakiyose Takamaru Kimi no Taion to Tomoni” is being released in two editions, a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature a "Special Live Event Digest" which will run seven minutes long. Also on the CD, the B-side track will be unique for each edition with the standard edition CD getting “Ai wo Kataru Yori Kuchizuke wo Kawasou - WANDS Dai 5 Ki ver. -” and the limited edition getting “Just a Lonely Boy - WANDS Dai 5 Ki ver. -”. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the group’s last single “Makkana Lip” which was their first single following their reunion.

Magic happens with WANDS reunion

WANDS is a music trio rock band formed back in 1991 that has been on-and-off since they got started. Recently they revealed they will be getting back together and performing activities for the fifth time. WANDS performed its first live at the “DFT presents Ototo ON vol.6” on November 17 at the Dojima River Forum in Osaka.

The event was broadcast live to YouTube. On January 29 WANDS will be releasing a brand new single titled “Makka na Lip” which is set to become the opening theme song of the hit defective anime Detective Conan. the single will be available in two editions. Both of them will be CD-only but the Tie Up Edition will have an anime cover.
