XANVALA Unleashes Defiant Digital Single “joke”!

Five-member alt-rockers XANVALA dropped the digital single “joke” on August 31, 2022. Locked and loaded, the band brings a rebellious spirit with this new work. “joke” is a riff-driven fierce track with a catchy modern sound that showcases the colors of XANVALA.

Speaking about the single “joke”, the band comments:

"The concept for the lyrics is a counterattack. The idea came to me from a movie and I envisioned a scene of oppressed people collectively rising up in revolt."

The five-piece band successfully completed their 20-city Japanese tour “ASK”, and they announced a new one starting this December and ending in August 2023. With several sold-out dates during this year, the upcoming tour is a new challenge to break into bigger venues and reach more areas in Japan.

XANVALA Goes Djent with Digital Single “Que Sera Sera”!

Alt-rock band XANVALA released the digital single "Que Sera Sera", an abrasive dark song that dropped on music platforms earlier in the month. Since the band’s formation in 2020, XANVALA has been constantly delivering solid music incorporating different styles into a catchy rock foundation. After the release of their first full album Tsuki to Taiyou in February, XANVALA returns with “Que Sera Sera”. The intense track features a deep and highly distorted sound that plunges the listener into the realm of fatalism.

The band comments, “Our fans are avidly waiting for new music, so it was hard to determine what genre they want to listen to now. Their taste also differs depending on the generation. We are incredibly happy with the response that we have received from all over the world so far. “Que Sera Sera” is a song with an aggressive intro chock-full of djent. The tunning is lowered two tones from A# to F#. It’s heavy as hell. The piano melody helps to convey a story with a strong message in such a short song. We want to leave people craving for more. We are making music that our fans want to hear and bringing out the charm of XANVALA while embracing a wide range of genres. Please look forward to our next release.”

XANVALA are currently touring all across Japan, expecting to delight fans and first-comers in 20 different cities with their high-energy concerts. They have also set their eyes on performing overseas in the future to spread the uniqueness of J-rock and Visual Kei scene in other countries.

XANVALA Strikes Back with Latest Single!

Five-member alternative rock band XANVALA keeps building momentum and brings out a fighting spirit with a new striking single titled “Seisen”. As a result of constantly battling all the obstacles that the pandemic brought to the musical scene, XANVALA has developed a challenging attitude and solid resilience to keep moving forward. This approach is reflected in “Seisen”, which means ‘holy war’ or ‘crusade’. “Seisen” is a thrilling song with a strong beat and fiery vocals that manifests the everlasting fight that life is.

In addition to the title track, the single features the aggressive track “LEGAL” and the emotional ballad “Kuchinashi”. It includes a live DVD with footage from their concert at Takadanobaba AREA that took place on August 26th.

Although the official release date was set for October 18th, the single will hit stores all over Japan on November 3rd, 2021. “Seisen” is already available to pre-order online. There is also a special bundle sold exclusively through their official store that offers access to an autograph session via Instagram on November 2nd and 3rd.

This single follows the sophisticated EP Gayoku no maku and the thunderous single “Janome” released this year. In the meantime, XANVALA has been able to tour successfully within Japan with safety guidelines in place. This has given the band and fans the hope of reaching more areas and enjoying in-person concerts as before.

It is clear that the commitment of XANVALA to fight against all odds is strong. Moreover, it’s paying off as they are getting attention from more and more people in Japan and other countries.

XANVALA Brings it up a Notch with Latest Release!

Five-member rock band XANVALA has released the thunderous single “Janome” on January 29. The rock band has returned to their dark and ferocious facet with this new work. “Janome” includes three songs and a DVD with the music video plus an interview with the members.

XANVALA’s music is known for featuring a heavy sound without losing a melodic approach. While previous songs like “XANADU”, “Bunmei kaika” or “Azayakana moudoku” have a brighter sound, the band has also delivered some aggressive ones like “Janome” or “CREEPER”. No matter the style, they have been able to pull it off successfully every time.

It’s been a year since their formation and, definitely, these have been hard times for upcoming bands, but XANVALA has been working non-stop to reach new audiences and keep up with the high expectations from fans.

XANVALA Welcomes Fan to their World with Upcoming Single!

Up-and-coming five-member visual kei rock band XANVALA continues to break into the scene with a new single titled “XANADU” to be released on December 16. “XANADU” is a dynamic song with a catchy rhythm, vigorous guitar riffs, and high-powered vocals that will captivate many people! This energetic single will come with a CD-only standard edition with two tracks.

The band started activities this year with a strong pace and didn’t surrender to the unfortunate ongoing crisis. The good response from the audience led to their album compilation Roku jyuusou and previous singles to be sold out quickly. Since these past works were put on sale exclusively by mail order and during concerts, “XANADU” will be the first release from XANVALA to get distribution in physical shops.

Like other artists in Japan, XANVALA has been able to come back to perform in front of an audience slowly, with reduced capacity and sanitary measures in place. Nevertheless, the band has not stopped to do paid and free online concerts to reach more people. Recently, Japanese and international fans were able to enjoy a Halloween theme online live on YouTube. This was premiered on October 29th.
