aiko Brings Her Love For Music In New Album!

Singer-songwriter and industry veteran, aiko released her latest album Dou Shitatte Tsutaerarenai Kara on March 3. This was aiko’s 14th studio album and first studio album in three years since Shimetta Natsu no Hajimari which released in June 2018. Dou Shitatte Tsutaerarenai Kara will feature a total of 13 tracks including aiko’s two newest single “Aozora” and “Honey Memory” which released last year. The track “Melon Soda” was used as the campaign song for the 30th anniversary of the radio show FM802 in 2019 and was written/composed by aiko herself.

Dou Shitatte Tsutaerarenai Kara was released in three editions: CD plus bonus Blu-ray Limited edition Type A, CD plus bonus DVD Limited edition Type B, and a CD-only standard edition. The Limited edition Type A and Type B will include aiko’s online concert Love Like Rock vol. 9 -Betsuwaku Chan-, a color tray, and a slipcase packaging. The CD-only standard edition will only include the 13 tracks. The first press edition includes a notebook and a sticker (on a first come, first serve basis). aiko announces memorable collection at end of monumental anniversary!

To dovetail her twentieth year in the music industry, popular vocalist aiko announced that she will be releasing a single collection album, aikoの詩。(aiko no Uta), dropping June 5. The album will be released with debut single “あした” (“Ashita”) up until her thirty-eighth single “Straw” and will include all thirty-eight A-side singles on a three-disc set. In addition, there will be a fourth disc which, according to aiko, features her best B-side tracks. aiko no Uta will drop with both a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition, the latter of which will include a special studio live. 

While aiko had two Best Of albums back in 2011, this is the first time that all of her singles will be gathered in one master collection.

aiko Teases More Of Her New Album With A Radio Debut Of A New Song!

Vocalist aiko announced today that she will be dropping her newest song "ハナガサイタ"("hana ga saita") on the Japanese radio countrywide on the 24th of this month. "ハナガサイタ" will be on aiko's new album 湿った夏の始まり (Shimetta Natsu no Hajimari), which will be released on June 6th. Also released was a teaser for the album on her official YouTube page.

Vocalist aiko, coming off of her latest single release, announced her next album 湿った夏の始まり (Shimetta Natsu no Hajimari). The release date of this album, June 6th, will mark two years since her last album, May Dream. Additionally, a country-wide concert hall tour was announced for aiko. It is scheduled to begin soon after the release of the album and will be called aiko Live Tour『Love Like Pop vol.20』, spanning 45 different venues.
