Four-member rock band flumpool released a brand new track, “大丈夫” (“Daijyoubu”) on December 25 across all digital music streaming platforms. Wrapping up their tenth year anniversary in the industry, this will be the latest music release done by the band since the album Real back in May and will be their third release of 2020 overall. This song, created by vocalist and guitarist Ryuta Yamamura in collaboration with sound producer Koichi Tabo, is based on messages and words from listeners sent to FM802's radio program "Radio Fields" where Yamamura is DJing.  In addition, 38 volunteers from the third year of junior high school, where Ryuta Yamamura currently works for his teaching license, participated in the chorus recording, and the singing voice from the radio listener was also incorporated.

flumpool Tries to Be Real With Fans With Upcoming Album!

Four-member rock band flumpool announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, Real ,May 20. This will be the latest release by the band since their single “素晴らしき嘘” (“Subarashiki Uso”) back in February and will be their fifth album overall. Eagle-eyed fans will notice this as an unofficial sequel to the band’s first mini-album, Unreal (2008), as the cover for Real is the same, albeit with some updates.

The album will feature thirteen tracks and drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD + Booklet limited edition. The DVD will include the entirety of their ninth tour Command Shift Z stop In Kanagawa’s Pacifica Yokohama which took place last September.

flumpool Gets Real With New Album

Rock band flumpool has revealed they will be dropping a brand new album titled Real which is set to be released on May 20th. Real will be the first album the band has released in little over four years; their last album EGG was released in March of 2016. Thirteen songs will be on the upcoming album with only the songs “Subarashiki uso”, “HELP” and “Chīsana hibi” being announced so far. Real is being released in three editions total; a standard edition that will be CD-only, a limited edition that will come with a bonus, and lastly a fan club edition that is only available through flumpool’s fan club. Pre-orders are up for the other two editions and are posted below along with the music video for “HELP”.

flumpool Lies in New Single

Rock band flumpool revealed they will be dropping a brand new single titled “Subarashiki Uso” which will be released February 26. “Subarashiki Uso” is being released off flumpool’s next album which is set to drop in spring. “Subarashiki Uso” is being used in the live action adaptation of Shirazui Itai Koto which was previously both a manga series and anime series. Also on the single will be the song “Nevermind” which is being used as the theme for the anime series Ahiru no Sora, a sports anime about basketball. “Subarashiki Uso” is being released in two editions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The CD will not only feature the two songs that were previously mentioned but also three songs from their live performance at Osaka-jo Hall on December 30, 2019. On the other hand, the DVD will include a documentary on it. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with the group’s previous song “Help” which came out in 2019.

flumpool comes back with helpful new single and special live!

Japanese four-member rock band flumpool have a helpful new single scheduled to release May 22 titled “HELP”. “HELP” will contain four tracks which were written while the band was on hiatus for a year. This is an important single for the band as it is the first of the year, but also the first release they have had since 2017. The theme of the title track is to “Get courage and seek salvation or help”; vocalist and guitarist Ryota Yamamura wrote this song while he was seeking help for medical issues he was going through. In addition to the release of “HELP“, flumpool will also be collaborating on a special project with popular messaging app LINE titled flumpool x LINE LIVE. There will be auditions to participate in a special movie held with LINE LIVE which will be held April 1 from 0:00 to April 7 at 23:59 hours.
