“Paradise” by Rude-α

This is the latest song by one of my favorite rappers and it’s super catchy. I really enjoy the flow and feel of this tune. It is definitely a lot of fun and it is nice to see Rude-α starting off the new year on the right foot.

“Get Loud” by Mukai Taichi

This is the very first song I’ve ever heard of his but it’s captivating and different from what I usually listen to. I love his vocals in this song and the overall uplifting feeling. This number is a lot of fun.

“STAY” by Erika Nishi

I really like her R&B style and this particular number is pretty catchy. R&B is a genre I genuinely struggle with but I’ve liked almost every song I’ve heard by Erika Nishi. This song is definitely worth checking out.

“Nobody’s Fault” by Sakurazaka46

I’ve really missed Keiyakizaka46, so it’s nice for them to come back with this rebranding as Sakurazaka46 even if it is something that is different from the original. “Nobody’s Fault” feels in many ways to me like a classic Keiyakizaka46 song, “Kaze Ni Fukare Temo” in particular. I’m glad to see these girls back and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next.

“Time Is Life” by Da-iCE

Would it be an Ongaku Go without a track by Da-iCE? Probably not, and this one is awesome. What a joy this number is. Super catchy and lots of fun definitely a pick-me-up song that lifts the listener up if they are feeling down.

Sakurazaka46 Bloom into a New Era with Upcoming Debut Single!

Newly dubbed Sakurazaka46 announced that that they will be releasing the debut single, “Nobody’s fault” on December 9. Formerly known as Keyakizaka46, the new group looks to bloom to a new future with this upcoming release.  Performed during Keyakizaka’s last concert during its encore, it will be produced by Yasushi Akimoto as the lyricist, Derek Turner as the composer, and Yuichi Nonaka "Masa" as the arranger. Hikaru Morita stood at the center and expressed the appearance of the newly reborn group. When Sakurazaka46, who finished their first performance, got off the stage and headed for the gate that often appeared in their lives, there was a cherry tree with white petals in full bloom.

There is no additional information at the time of reporting. We at OTY look forward to this release and welcome the next generation of the 46 family.

Keyakizaka46 Announce Their Final Performance

The mega-idol group Keyakizaka46 came out on September 20 and announced they will be ending their activity under the name Keyakizaka46 and will start working under a brand-new name, Sakurazaka46. The new name will officially go into effect on October 14, however, the group has revealed that on October 17 they will be appearing on the television program SONGS in which should be their final outing under their old moniker of Keyakizaka46.

Back in January of this year, there was a surprise announcement that their lead performer, Hirate Yurina, was no longer with the group, effective immediately, and two other members announced they would be graduating in March. Since then, the group has kept silent, leaving fans to speculate what the future of the group will look like. We here at Ongaku To You wish Sakurazaka46 the best of luck.
