Shota Shimizu Misses his Princess with Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of his latest mini-album period, vocalist Shota Shimizu released the music video for his track, “Princess,” on his YouTube channel. Set as the lead track for the mini-album, this is the latest physical release done by Shimizu since WHITE back in 2018. Directed masterfully by veteran Kai Tada, the music video expresses the lyrics perfectly, which regrets the farewell to the lover and expresses the sorrow that comes after, with fantastic production. The release came with five tracks total and dropped with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a CD+DVD limited edition. The DVD includes footage from Shimizu’s Birthday party concert that took place last February at Zepp DiverCity.

Miliyah Kato celebrates 15th anniversary with greatest hits album!

Japanese urban pop vocalist, songwriter, and fashion designer Miliyah Kato is celebrating her 15 years in the music industry with the announcement of her latest best album M Best II which will be released November 27. M Best II will encompass 33 of Miliyah’s biggest hits since her debut in 2004 with several new versions of songs! The popular song “SAYONARA baby” will feature Japanese rapper SKY-HI, the ballad “Aitai” will have a new arrangement and will feature Kiyozuka Shinya, and the ballad “Love is…” was re-recorded by Miliyah after she experienced marriage and her first child this year. Also, her debut song “Yozora” will have a new remix featuring ILLMATIC BUDDHA MC’S with it! There will be a new song, too; titled “PARADE”, this track is used for the theme of Osaka television drama series Dakaretai 12-ri no Onna tachi which is currently airing.

M Best II is set to be released in two editions, a 2-CD regular edition and a 2-CD + DVD limited edition. The 2-CD regular edition will house a total of 33 songs, CD One being titled UPPER SIDE and CD Two titled BALLAD SIDE. The 2-CD + DVD limited edition will have both CDs along with a DVD containing 28 music videos, a 40-page art book containing lyrics to all songs, and a photo taken by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Shota Shimizu's Friday Release Date Has Finally Been Revealed!

On his official page, artist Shota Shimizu announced that the release date of his newest single "Friday" will be on May 16th. Friday, which was featured on beer company Premium Malt's Premium Friday, boasts a catchy beat that one could say could rival some American artists' music.
